Rumana N. was relieved to find a kids’ playing area at the Anna Nagar Model Polling Booth, where she had gone to vote during the Assembly election on Thursday. As a mother of twins, she was worried about taking care of her children while voting. . “My husband had come earlier in the day and did not see this area. When I came with my parents later, I was pleased to see the kids’ playing area at the polling centre. I was stressed in the morning, wondering how to manage them, ,” she said.

She was waiting at the playing area for her parents to complete voting, so that she could cast her vote while her mother kept a watch over the children. The playing area had about eight horses with wheels and a seesaw,
