More than 1,200 parents and children underwent a free medical examination at a comprehensive health check-up camp organised by SRN Mehta State School as part of its 35th Founders’ Day celebrations in Kalaburagi on July 5.

The camp offered a wide range of preventive healthcare services, including dental check-up, obstetrics and gynaecology consultations, cervical and breast cancer screening, orthopaedic and paediatric consultations, eye examination, skin disease screening, and blood test. A blood donation camp was also organised.

The initiative received an overwhelming response from parents. It aims to promote preventive healthcare and create greater awareness about the importance of regular medical check-ups.

SPECIAL ARRANGEMENT

School Chairperson Preetam Mehta, Managing Trustee Chakor Mehta, Principal Priti Mehta, along with the teaching and non-teaching staff, expressed gratitude to the doctors, blood donors, volunteers and parents for their enthusiastic participation in making the community outreach programme a success. They said the school would continue to organise such initiatives to promote health awareness and social responsibility.
