Sivakarthikeyan’s ‘Seyon’ teases Raj B Shetty’s first look on his birthday

The makers of Seyon have officially welcomed acclaimed Kannada actor, writer, and filmmaker Raj B Shetty to Sivakarthikeyan’s upcoming Tamil film, unveiling a striking character poster to mark the actor’s birthday.

Shared across the film’s official social media handles, the first-look poster presents Shetty in an intense silhouette. While the makers have yet to reveal details about his character, the announcement has added to the growing anticipation surrounding the project.

Seyon marks Sivakarthikeyan’s first collaboration with director Sivakumar Murugesan and is produced by Kamal Haasan’s Raaj Kamal Films International. The film stars Bhagyashri Borse as the female lead and has steadily built buzz through a series of first-look reveals, including the title poster and character introductions released over the past few months.

Raj B Shetty’s addition further strengthens the ensemble cast. Widely regarded as one of Kannada cinema’s most distinctive contemporary filmmakers, Shetty first gained widespread acclaim with Ondu Motteya Kathe before directing and starring in acclaimed films such as Garuda Gamana Vrishabha Vahana and Swathi Mutthina Male Haniye.

The film also boasts an accomplished technical crew, with Santhosh Narayanan composing the music. Details about the story remain under wraps, although the makers have previously described Seyon as a rooted entertainer with a strong emotional core.

The project was officially launched earlier this year with a traditional pooja ceremony and is currently progressing through production.
