Enumeration phase of SIR begins on Tuesday

The enumeration phase of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls will commence on Tuesday.

In this phase, booth-level officers will visit voters door-to-door to distribute enumeration forms, collect information, and verify voter details.

In Hassan district, the administration will mark the launch of the enumeration phase by symbolically distributing the first enumeration form to author and International Booker Prize winner Banu Mushtaq. Officers are scheduled to visit the writer’s residence at 9 a.m. to distribute the form, according to a communication from the Hassan district administration.

In Shivamogga, City Corporation Commissioner K. Mayanna Gowda on Monday inspected preparations for the enumeration process. He instructed officials on the procedures for distributing enumeration forms and collecting voter information.
