Hamstech students participate in a fashion show during the launch of SRU School of Design in Warangal on Saturday.
SR University (SRU), in collaboration with Hamstech, inaugurated the SRU School of Design Powered by Hamstech on its campus in Warangal on Saturday, adding a new creative learning destination in the region.
The newly launched school will offer specialised Bachelor of Design (B.Des) programmes in Fashion Design and Interior Design.
Renowned fashion designer and National Award-winning creative professional Neeta Lulla, who attended the inaugural event, said, “I am excited to mentor the students of SRU School of Design Powered by Hamstech and contribute to shaping future creative leaders,” she said.
A major highlight of the inaugural programme was a fashion showcase featuring collections designed by Hamstech students under Ms. Lulla’s mentorship.
SR University Vice-Chancellor Deepak Garg said the institution aimed to equip students with globally relevant skills and prepare them to emerge as professionals, innovators and entrepreneurs in the rapidly evolving creative sector.
Ajita Yogesh, CEO of Hamstech Group of Companies and SR University Chancellor A. Varada Reddy also addressed the gathering.
