Candidates appearing for the NEET examination screened at the entrance of the Andhra University Engineering College examination centre in Visakhapatnam.

A total of 7,298 of the 8,015 candidates registered for the NEET (UG) 2026 re-examination appeared for the test in Visakhapatnam district on Sunday, recording an attendance of 91.05%.
District Collector M. Abhishikth Kishore and Joint Collector G. Vidyadhari inspected examination centres at Andhra University Arts College and Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 2 in the 104 Area and reviewed the arrangements and issued necessary instructions to the concerned staff.
The examination was conducted at 18 centres across Visakhapatnam. Of the 1,761 male candidates registered, 1,619 appeared for the test, while 5,679 of the 6,254 registered female candidates took the examination.
Mr. Kishore said the re-examination was conducted smoothly and peacefully without any untoward incidents, and appreciated the coordinated efforts of officials and examination personnel involved in the exercise.
