Works of news photographers and others were exhibited at the Tripura Vasini Palace.
Pundalik Badiger, a photojournalist who contributes to The Hindu, was among those who received the Chaya Rathna Award from the associations.
Poornima, Vishweshwarappa S., Nagaraj Dastan, Rudraswami, M. Akram and Pragati Gopalkrishna were among the others who received the award.
