The trailer of Dhamaal 4 has been released, offering the first look at the next chapter of the Ajay Devgn-led comedy franchise. Set for a theatrical release on July 10, 2026, the film appears to stay rooted in the series’ familiar world of treasure, chaos and confusion, with the promo setting up comic mayhem on a bigger scale.
Running for three minutes and 37 seconds, the trailer is built around a frantic treasure hunt. The Dhamaalgang is shown chasing a mountain of gold while running into one problem after another, with the makers presenting the film as a family entertainer driven by fast-moving adventure, slapstick humour and a series of unexpected twists.
The promo moves across a range of settings, from the sea and the jungle to a riverside and a mountain cliff, as the chase gathers pace. It also includes exaggerated visual moments, including Ajay Devgn riding flying dolphins, while keeping the focus on the gang’s race to reach the treasure first amid misadventures, confusion and a string of hurdles.

According to the makers, the gang is back for the biggest treasure hunt of their lives, continuing the franchise’s theme. At the centre of the story is a mountain of gold, but the pursuit also brings a mountain of trouble. The trailer suggests that the answer to who among them will turn out to be the smartest and the luckiest will only be revealed when the film reaches cinemas on July 10, 2026.
The trailer also brings back a familiar Jaaved Jaaferi moment that has featured in every Dhamaalfilm, with the actor saying, “I do not know how I end up at the front in such situations.” In the film, Ajay Devgn is paired opposite Esha Gupta, while Riteish Deshmukh is paired opposite Anjali Anand.
While the trailer seems to be a promising madcap, a large chunk of the promo tries to extract humour from body-shaming. A case in point is the introduction sequence of Anjali Anand, wherein Riteish’s character says, “Ungli to kismet ne ki hai hamari. Itna bhaari samaan de diya (Fate has played a trick on me by giving me such heavy luggage.)
Ensemble cast returns
The franchise has long been known for its trademark humour, quirky characters and wildly staged situations, and the fourth instalment appears to continue in the same space. The scale, however, has been pushed further with a larger treasure hunt and more twists in the journey.
The trailer was launched at Imagicaa to reflect the scale, adventure, and larger-than-life madness of the film. Riteish Deshmukh couldn’t attend the trailer launch and shared his thoughts with a heartfelt note.
“For nearly 2 decades, you have showered unprecedented love on the Dhamaalfranchise – a journey I have been proud to be an integral part of. Now that the Trailer of Dhamaal 4 launches, you will witness the madness we have been cooking for you all. We have had an absolute blast making it and hope you feel the same while watching it,” he wrote in his social media handle.
“I will truly miss being there today with my team as we share a peek into our crazy crazy world with you and our friends in the media. Let the Dhamaalbegin,” he added.
Dhamaal 4 features an ensemble cast led by Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Riteish Deshmukh, Jaaved Jaaferi and Sanjay Mishra. The film also stars Esha Gupta, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Anjali Anand, Upendra Limaye, Vijay Patkar and Ravi Kishan. The comedy caper is scheduled to release in theatres on July 10.
