Deputy Chief Minister and Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Minister K. Pawan Kalyan said in a social media post on Wednesday (June 10, 2026) that Andhra Pradesh had secured the third-highest allocation in the country, a proposed interim allocation of ₹7,707.21 crore, under the Viksit Bharat-Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission-Gramin (VB-GRAM-G).
He thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his focus on rural development, and Union Rural Development Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and the Ministry of Rural Development for their support to the State.
He said the allocation reflected the State’s commitment to transparent governance and effective implementation.
The funds would speed up rural development, strengthen village infrastructure, improve livelihoods and create more opportunities for farmers, women, youth and workers, whose work was driving the growth of the State and the country, he said.
He thanked the Government of India for what he called its transparent and objective approach in ensuring that development funds reached States and communities across the country. “We deeply value this trust and will ensure that every rupee entrusted to us creates measurable impact and meaningful change at the grassroots,” Mr. Pawan Kalyan said.

“The State government is committed to building stronger villages and empower communities, and a Viksit Andhra Pradesh as part of a Viksit Bharat,” he said.
