The police authorities conducted a high-level review meeting to assess the security arrangements in place for the newly built Judges’ Villas and the under-construction permanent Andhra Pradesh High Court complex in the Amaravati on Tuesday.
The meeting was held at the new DSP office at Velagapudi under the chairmanship of Guntur District Superintendent of Police Vakul Jindal. Guntur Range Inspector General of Police Sarvashresth Tripathi issued comprehensive guidelines for ensuring the highest level of security at the judges’ residential complex and the High Court premises at Nelapadu village in Thullur mandal.
The officials discussed the implementation of a multi-layer security system, round-the-clock deployment of security personnel, setting up an advanced CCTV surveillance system, strict visitor access control measures, and the formation of dedicated Quick Response Teams (QRTs).
Special emphasis was laid on route security for VVIPs, traffic management, intelligence gathering, anti-sabotage checks, domination patrols, and strengthening communication systems.
After the meeting, the senior police, intelligence, security and SPF officials inspected the Judges’ Villas and the permanent High Court buildings. They reviewed the security infrastructure, future requirements and personnel deployment, issuing necessary instructions to ensure comprehensive security for the prestigious judicial facilities.
