Arre yaar, picture karo… Andhra Pradesh ki sadkon par jab 3,000 electric buses ka ravan chalta hoga, toh kya hal hoga? 700 toh agle do mahine hi aa jayenge, aur 3,000 ka target hai… lekin iske peeche ka sach kya hai? Transport Minister M. Ramprasad Reddy ne kal hi ek press conference mein ye sab bataya hai, aur sabse pehle unka yeh clear message hai – ‘APSRTC privatise hone wali nahi hai.’
Lekin yaar, iske peeche ki kahani itni simple nahi hai. Kal subah 9:34 baje, Transport Minister ne kaha, ‘Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu ne ek high-level meeting ki hai, jismein APSRTC ko modernise karne ke liye 7 bade kadam uthaye gaye hain.’ Ab ye 7 kadam kya hain? Pehle toh, Stree Shakti scheme – jise log ‘financial burden’ samajh rahe the, usko Minister ne ‘social responsibility’ bataya hai. ‘APSRRC par iska koi extra load nahi hai, ye toh humari zimmedari hai,’ unhone kaha.
Ab aage… PPP model se APSRTC ke depots upgrade honge. Yani private sector bhi ismein shaamil hoga, lekin privatisation nahi. ‘Government ka support hamesha rahega,’ Minister ne assurance diya. Lekin yaar, iske peeche ka sach ye hai ki APSRTC ko 2021 se lekar 2025 tak kaafi struggle karna pada tha. 5 saal tak iski halat itni kharab thi ki logon ko private buses ka sahara lena pada. Ab Chief Minister Naidu ne isko ‘revive’ karne ka vaada kiya hai, aur iske liye electric buses ka plan sabse bada hai.
Ab electric buses ki baat karte hain… 700 buses agle do mahine mein aa jayengi, aur 3,000 ka target hai. 300 buses Mahavas scheme ke under aayengi, aur 500 ke liye procurement process already complete ho chuka hai. ‘Ye buses modern amenities ke saath hongi, aur inhe sabhi services mein gradually introduce kiya jayega,’ Minister ne kaha. ‘Palle Velugu se lekar Express services tak, har jagah electric buses ka ravan chalta dikhega.’
Aur haan, connectivity improve karne ke liye 40 special buses Vijayawada aur Bhogapuram airport ke beech chalengi. ‘Godavari Pushkaralu ke liye bhi special services launch honge,’ unhone kaha. ‘APSRTC ab sirf buses nahi, ek parivartan ka symbol ban raha hai.’
Lekin yaar, iske peeche ki asli kahani kya hai? 2021 se lekar 2025 tak APSRTC ki halat itni kharab thi ki logon ko private buses ka sahara lena pada. 2025 mein Naidu sarkar aayi, aur unhone kaha, ‘Hum APSRTC ko revive karenge.’ Aur ab dekho, 3,000 electric buses ka plan, PPP model se depots ka upgrade, aur Stree Shakti scheme ka support… sab kuch isi direction mein hai.
Minister ne kaha, ‘APSRTC ab growth aur transformation ke naye phase mein hai.’ Lekin yaar, iske peeche ka sach ye hai ki privatisation ka dar ab khatam ho gaya hai, lekin kya ye sab kuch sach mein possible hai? 3,000 electric buses ka target itna bade scale par kaise achieve hoga? Aur kya private sector ka involvement APSRTC ki quality ko aur behtar banayega ya phir iske liye naye samasyayein khadi karega?
Sabse badi baat ye hai ki APSRTC ab sirf ek transport corporation nahi, balki ek parivartan ka symbol ban rahi hai. Lekin kya ye parivartan sach mein hoga ya phir sirf ek aur government scheme ban kar reh jayega?
