Telugu Desam Party (TDP) MLA Bonela Vijaya Chandra on Saturday (May 9, 2026) questioned the allocation of government lands, Survey No.70/2 in Addapuseela village of Parvatipuram mandal of Parvatipuram-Manyam district,

to private individuals on a lease basis. He visited the site, which is currently being used by a brick industry, welding shop, and other establishments. The owners of these establishments informed the MLA that they had been paying rent to a person named Bantudas for many years.

Expressing displeasure over the misuse of government lands, Mr. Vijaya Chandra asked Collector, Sub Collector, and revenue officials to remove encroachments immediately and protect government lands. He said that misuse of lands located in Addapuseela village has been brought to the notice of the Revenue Principal Secretary and other senior officials in Amaravati.
