‘Seyon’: Bhagyashri Borse joins Sivakarthikeyan’s next with ‘Thaai Kizhavi’-maker

Actor Bhagyashri Borse has joined the cast of Seyon, Tamil star Sivakarthikeyan’s upcoming film with Thaai Kizhavi-director Sivakumar Murugesan. The news was announced by the makers on Wednesday (May 6) on the occasion of Bhagyashri’s 26th birthday.

The makers unveiled a first-look poster to announce the news. It features Bhagyashri holding onto a peacock feather, in tune with the theme of Lord Murugan, which the title and the promos of Seyonhave been hinting at.

While details regarding the plot and the rest of the cast of the film remain unknown, a previously released title teaser of the film hinted at a rural drama with a religious backdrop

With music scored by Santhosh Narayanan, Seyonhas cinematography by Vivek Vijayakumar and editing by San Lokesh. Kamal Haasan produces the film along with R Mahendran under their Raaj Kamal Films International banner. The film is slated to release in October 2026.

Interestingly, Sivakumar’s Thaai Kizhavi, starring Radikaa Sarathkumar and produced by Sivakarthikeyan under his SK Productions banner, turned out to be a blockbuster.

Bhagyashri, meanwhile, was last seen in Tamil in the Dulquer Salmaan starrer Kaantha.
