The Red Sanders Anti Smuggling Task Force (RSASTF) on Tuesday (May 5, 2026) arrested an alleged inter-state smuggler and seized a huge cache of red sander logs.
The accused, identified as KN alias Nasser Bhai, was charged with felling trees in the Seshachalam forest and illegally transporting the logs to Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. In a special operation launched to nab him, the police monitored his movement and tracked him to a secluded location in the forest near Tirupati.
