Owen Coyle won promotion to the English Premier League both as a player and coach. The Scotsman, who played for the Republic of Ireland, has managed teams in the UK, the USA and India. Excerpts from an interview Coyle, 59, gave The Hindu at Kochi, ahead of his team Jamshedpur FC’s ISL clash against Kerala Blasters last weekend:
