MLA Nara Bharath Reddy on Monday announced that a grand equestrian Basavanna statue will be unveiled in Ballari within six months, fulfilling a long-pending demand of the public.
Speaking after inaugurating Basava Jayanti celebrations organised at Dr. Joladarashi Doddanagouda Auditorium there, he said that the project, which is delayed due to technical reasons, will now be taken up on priority.
