Aamir Khan confirms starting work on dream project Mahabharat

Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan, who turned 60 on March 13, 2025 (Thursday), confirmed that he has begun work on his dream project, Mahabharata. The actor opened up about the film during a press conference in Mumbai. During a press conference on his 60th birthday, Aamir Khan also introduced his girlfriend, Gauri Spratt, a Bengaluru professional with a background in photography and fashion.

“We have begun working on it (Mahabharata). We have put together a team, and the writing work has started,” he said. When asked if his fans can expect the project to be a reality within the next five years, Aamir said, “Let’s see how the first phase goes. I will take a call on it after that.”
