Civil servants must work within rule of law, says Chief Secretary Sai Prasad

Andhra Pradesh Chief Secretary G. Sai Prasad on Tuesday (April 21, 2026) said civil servants must work strictly within the framework of the rule of law, and strive to deliver efficient and accountable public services.

Addressing the 18th Civil Services Day celebrations at the State Secretariat in Amaravati, in Guntur district, Mr. Sai Prasad, who attended as chief guest, inaugurated the programme by lighting the ceremonial lamp. The event was held under the theme “Viksit Bharat, Swarnandhra 2047: Citizen-Centric Governance for Last Mile Delivery”, reflecting the vision of ensuring that government schemes reach the most marginalised sections.
